Best Burger Joint in SF
Planning to visit the city soon - have lost track of best-tasting burgers in San Francisco - looking for a place in the vicinity of the Embarcadero - of course, the fries and shakes/malts should also be outstanding

I wasn't going to respond initially since you are looking for best burgers, but since the word joint is in your request I'll throw these out. Red's Java House, Embarcadero off Bryant and Sam's at Broadway and Grant in North Beach. Now you did say joint.
