Oooooooops! Hit reply button too soon.

The benefit of staying at KOP is that you have plenty of places to take kids for food--Cheesecake Factory, Maggiano's, TGI Friday's, Bahmama Breeze, Bertolini's, etc.

Has someone hacked into Thin's account or stolen her identity??? Perhaps it was her biting satire of the Haverford fauxhawk, but I am a bit shocked that someone so clever would suggest chain restaurants in the tacky, overcrowded land of parking lots and office parks. King of Prussia because you absolutely need to go to LV or Neimans or Pink? Yes. KoP because you want to visit Philadelphia and eat good food? Definitely not.

There are plenty of places for children to eat in the cityand that are not chain restaurants you find in ever town in america. The OP or others should ask us for for kids' food or grown up food recs down town if they need them.

Hello, I am NOT A SHE. I am a HE and I have been posting on this board for almost 10 years. My recos have been printed in MANY Fodor's Guides.

Lots of people LIKE to visit KOP Mall. Maybe you don't like to visit, but it is a tourist destination. Not everyone is a big-city sophisticate who wants to dine at one of Stephen Starr's restaurants.

Nobody is FORCING the OP to stay in KOP, it is just an option for folks who are comfortable in suburbia.

Any personal experiences with The Independent (other than what yk already mentioned)? They have great "sale" going on right now.
