I sent a letter to Chick-Fil-A complaining that there were none in NYC. I got a letter back with a package to open my own franchise, and a coupon for a free sandwich. Sigh.
Recently I found out through chowhound that NYU has a chick-fil-a in one of their cafeterias. I am trying to get my hands on an NYU ID card. Will keep all addicts posted.

There is a Dwarf House/ Chick Fil A here in Griffin, complete with the little door. On any given day you can see kids going in, and out, and in, ... They have all the regular CFA menu and extra "dwarf house only" items, too. The DH is sit down, but you can do CFA carry out in the back or drive thru. Wonderful!
Daytrip Alert: Truett Cathey has a ranch in The Rock, Ga., called (what else?) The Rock Ranch, that is a working farm. On it live about 12 of his foster children. They are nice kids, go to the local school, help out on the farm. In the fall, they grow a corn maze (maize maze, lol) in the cursive writing of "Chick fil-a." It's a lot of fun to go through, especially around Halloween. Corn cannons, hot dogs and hamburgers, hayrides, up close and personal with Sophie, the resident ostrich, train ride, etc. This is a fab fall outing for those of you in Atlanta with kids/ grandkids.

We were at DEN in May and I have to say it was the worst food selection we've ever seen. We finally ended up grabbing a pizza at Wolfgang Pucks.
SFO's food selection rocks, as does Austin's if I say so myself!

I'm not bias because I live in the area, but Pittsburgh International. Before 9/11, I use to travel to the airport to shop for unique items and the food selection is similar to Minneapolis, not quite all the restaurants but a very nice selection.

Friardave, New Mexican food differs from Tex-Mex or Cal-Mex in that the sauces are chile-based, as opposed to tomato-based with chile added. Red chile is red chile cooked and pureed with seasonings; green chile is, well, green chile with garlic, onion, etc. Sometimes tomatillos are part of a green chile sauce as well.
When you order at a New Mexican restaurant, you will be asked, "Red or green?" That's our official state question, BTW.
If you want both, just answer "Christmas."

Lee Ann has given you a good idea as to the difference in NM food vs. mexican. Also, NM chile [note: with an "E" at the end] is nothing like chili [with "i" at the end] which is with beans and meat like the stuff on chilidogs.
Also, if you are new to NM chiles, better to ask for it on the side. The heat factor can knock your socks off! And there are long standing debates as to which is better [I vote green]. The level of heat varies from place to place and even from batch to batch some times.
It is just the start of chile season in NM and the aroma of roasting chiles is one that makes grown men weap. Yummmmm.
And as far as Chick A Filet, I believe there is one in the Danbury Mall for those NYer's in need of a fix.
And if you are in ABQ, there's one near Cottonwood Mall.

Bayougal, I think we ate at that deli in the Salt Lake airport last summer. It was wonderful! and very, very clean, as all of SLC. Good bagels, too--
