Berkeley to San Francisco with luggage
We will need to go from Berkeley (Claremont Resort) to the Fisherman's Wharf area of San Francisco next week. We will have two big rollaboards and a smaller rollaboard.
What is the best method of making this trip if both price and ease of travel are considerations?
Thanks in advance.

Two ways to get to SF from Berkeley are by BART and by car. I don't think there is an easy way to do this via public transportation as it would involve getting a bus from the Claremont to BART (assuming there is one); BART to the Embarcadero; and then taking the streetcar to FW, none of which will be that easy with 3 suitcases. The easiest would be a taxi, but I don't have any idea of the price. You might be able to do a combination of taxis and BART for less than the cost of a taxi into SF to the Wharf.

Taxi to the Ashby BART station. Take BART to Embarcadero in SF, then take another taxi to Fisherman's Wharf. Your only other option is to rent a car.
The nearest BART station to Claremont Hotel is at least a few miles. And Fisherman's Wharf aint close to the BART either.
