Bentley Beach Hotel in South Beach?

Wondering if anyone knew anything about this new hotel. I'm going to South Beach for a weekend in February. It looks very nice and I got a great rate. I know it is new and is a condo complex also. Just looking to relax on the beach, and maybe do some shopping. Is this a good bet?

It looks like it JUST opened, so I'd be shocked if anyone knew much about it. I'm assuming, as a condo hotel, that you'll be hounded by salespeople the entire time you're there (ahh, the timeshare pitchpeople!). The amenity level looks very high, and if the whole place is done, it should be a nice stay, especially if the price is right.

It's basically near the very end of Ocean Drive in the SoFi district. A couple of clubs and lots and lots of other condo buildings in the area, but the main shopping area starts maybe five blocks north of there. Most of the restaurants and nightclubs of interest are also well north of there (other than Nikki Beach, which is a block south if I'm not mistaken). Not my first choice, but if it's inexpensive, I'd do it.

Good point, I never thought about the potential salespeople. What about the Royal Palm Crowne Plaza?

Royal Palm? MUCH better location, right off of Lincoln Road Mall, beachfront. Big new hotel towers, with lobbies built out of two tiny Déco-era hotels. I usually stay at a boutique hotel on Ocean Drive (the Cardozo), but the Royal Palm is a great choice if you can get it for a good price.
