So why don't you just book a room at Days Inn or Motel 6 and use the money you save to buy a bathrobe?

I pray to heaven that this is a troll poster. I can't even begin to imagine that anyone would be stupid enough to ask this question seriously.

If you think this post is strange, check out the "Roosters in Hawaii" post.

No no no buying a bathrobe is not the same! It is getting the distinct honor and excitement of having a deluxe robe hanging in your room when your arrive! Oh goodness can't you understand the wonderful feeling of walking into your room and seeing that crisp, inviting, sweet smelling robe in your closet? It is a spiritual experience and I can also wear it up to get my massage.

Thanks to the one person for giving Jilly her answer. Was it that difficult? Hey...It's not my first priority; but why piss in her cornflakes? If Jilly wants a robe then it's HER vacation! Who are you to judge her, at least she's forthright.

Jilly, I don't think you're dumb, I feel the same way. I'm so spoiled staying at hotels that do offer bathrobes that on the rare occassion I'm in a room that doesn't, I really miss it. They take up so much room to pack and the ones at nicer hotels are very thick and plush. I would chose a hotel with other things being equal based on that! I'm sure Bellagio would have robes (although I've never stayed there). I stay at the Venetian when we go to Vegas and they always provide two in each room.

"some one elses stinky robe"

....I suppose you bring your own towels and sheets to a hotel! All linens, including the robes are cleaned/disinfected after each guest. The robes that I've had at Westin properties are WONDERFUL! In fact, they're so nice they sell them. Oh, and even my husband throws one on after he showers. I think the people making snide remarks aren't use to the nicer hotels that always do supply robes to their guests.

Marci.... I can fly anywhere in the world.....for nothing! I work for a major airline. I stay in penthouses! Having a bathrobe doesnt mean you have money!!! wake up dear!!!! I still wont wear a stinky bathrobe.. that is nasty!!! I have a butler do my wash at the hotels!

If you want a really nice bathrobe at Bellagio, I suggest you spend the money on a suite. The robes there are 10x better than the standard robes, and the standard robes are pretty nice in their own right!

I always wonder about people who make fun of others for being dumb or stupid, but then misspell words themselves, proving their own stupidity. It should be "I be YOU'RE a dumb blonde too!"
