whoa easytraveler...I am NOT going to Pebble Beach. My hubby's taking his employees. My consolation prize is a cruise with DD and her friend. At least I can drink and not drive, LOL!I am too ticked off at Coppola to ever visit his property. He's trying to ruin Sonoma and turn it into Napa!

No, I didn't go. I've been for barrel tasting a couple of times but it is so crowded that weekend that we usually avoid it now. We can go other times so don't feel so compelled. It's a fun time though. And I use my glass that I bought the last time often!

We had a wonderful day in Dry Creek Valley. Lunch was a picnic with great sandwiches and treats from the General Store. I enjoyed the olive oil tasting as much as the wine
Our favorite stop was the last - Truett-Hurst (formerly Martin). Their port was fabulous. The changes they are planning are exciting - biodynamic approach to the entire operation.

Healdsburg was very busy this weekend with the barrel tasting, we enjoyed tasting at Gary Farrell and Martin Ray, we ended our short time in Healdsburg with an amazing meal at Cyrus before heading back to the Sonoma Mission Inn where we based for 2 nights. ***kim***
