What is the best airport to fly into for Bar Harbor, Maine-coming from South Florida

We are flying from FT Myers to Bangor, via Cincinnati. i.e. Ft Myers to Cinn, the onto Bangor. You could also go to Boston and do a commuter to Bangor. FYI, Judy

For our honeymoon my wife and I flew to Maine from Atlanta. We looked at flying into Boston, but chose not to due to higher rental car rates and traffic concerns. We chose to fly into Portland, rent a car and then drive to Bar Harbor. The drive took about two hours along the coast and was very relaxing. Have you found a hotel yet? I'm happy to share recommendations.

If you can get a good rate on a one-way car rental, fly INTO Bangor and OUT OF Portland, taking a nice drive down the coastline of Maine. (or vice versa).

We rented a house-any recommendations on Bar Harbor would be appreciated.
