You'll want to sit along the 3rd base line. It's on the West side of stadium. Also, the top of the BOB curves in so it also offers you some protection from the sun. You should be fine.

BOB is a domed stadium. The roof only opens if it is nice weather out and only just before the game starts.
My favorite seats are in the upper deck just behind home plate. They are almost always available and are quite reasonable.
