That's straight back from the plate, and over the infield. It's actually over where the announcers sit.
If you are not an Upper Deck fan, you aren't going to like how high it is. But people do roam at U.S. Cellular.
I don't do it, but nearly everyone else does. They move down if there are empties and no one cares.
Also, there really are not "rules" like there are in Toronto, for instance, when people are only moving when there is no one in the batters box etc. during play. Boston at Fenway, too, had a lot of common movement rules in getting out and down rows/steps- not any of that at the Cell. We have space- people are very obliging to move etc. People get up to get "stuff" or visit the washrooms whenever they choose.
And there are deluxe multiple, multiple bathrooms abounding. No easy common thing to find in ball parks of older than 15 year vintage, IMHO.
I have been in 531 section and loved it. I usually try for something, if I'm going upper that is 526 to 540, but usually get tickets at the gate and if I'm Upper deck I'm usually around 546 or so and at the bottom of that section. Because usually the other tickets mentioned are all sold already.
But last year, with the way things went, most of the time I was nearly on the field. LOL! And even in the bleachers once, which, is not a bad seat at the Cell, by the way.
The only thing wrong with being up, up at the Cell is now with larger numbers, they often restrict you to your own level. Not that there isn't enough restaurants etc. on each level, but you may want to observe or see shops, or venues that are on the other levels, on the way up. They look at your ticket, they also inspect your purses/bags you carry in. But if you said you wanted to see or visit the Patio, or take a look at the bar/ restaurant near the Right Field wall- they would let you, I'm pretty sure.

Obrycki's & Tio Pepe are still around, but I have never gone to either one. From what I've heard Tio Pepe needs a little updating. I'm not sure of Prime Rib.

My husband got me a subscription to this when I first moved here. It's one of those local publications where you have to weed through a lot of ads, but it has some good articles and local info. I also general trust the "Best Restaurants" section - they are very reliable reviews.

Is the Washington Monument in Baltimore worth the time to go to it? It looks like its a hike from the harbor and will take up a lot of our time. Is the view any different than what we will get from the WTC?

Camden Yards has a "No Scalp Zone" where people can sell their excess tickets. It is a controlled situation. You can often score some tickets at a deep discount there as game time comes close.
Obrycki's is still around and still excellent. We also get to Tio Pepe now and then and still enjoy it. Tio Pepe has one of the better fish menus around even though it is not a seafood place.
I agree with Dancing Bear that Faidley's has the best crab cakes around. Faidley's also has a fresh seafood market and you can buy what you like at the market and have them cook it for you at a nominal fee. If you want to pig out on shrimp and prawns, that is the place to do it.

I agree with the idea of driving to Johns Hopkins University (not the Med School). It's a gorgeous campus, and the trees may be in bloom while you're there. You can also drive just north of JHU, into the pretty neighborhoods.
Callie's Court is a great restaurant in Fells Point. We had one of our favorite meals at Saphron. The Brass Elephant, too,. There are lots of good restaurants in Baltimore, and good clubs like the Red Maple.

Yes, you could easily do both in a day (I'm assuming you have a car). The zoo is really not that large (but is nicely done).
If you are in Baltimore for multiple days, though, it might not be the most efficient plan, as the Fort is south of downtown and the Zoo is north of downtown. Might be better to do the Fort and the Inner Harbor on the same day.

Yes, we will have a car. After I posted this, I looked at our layout and realized that we should do the Fort then go to the Maritime Museum (including the Constellation)on Friday then do the zoo on Saturday before hitting the Top of the World Lookout and possibly the Babe Ruth Museum before heading to the game that night. Busy weekend but will be fun

I love doing the walk on Charles street from the Inner Harbor to the Washington monument; great ambience all the way. I also agree with Mambo that the neighborhoods north of JHU are gorgeous to drive through; some of my favorite memories. I think the names are Roland Park and Homeland. There is a gorgeous park with a central tulip garden in one of the areas; it would be a dream to own one of the homes there if I were to ever live in Baltimore again.

Just FYI, the Constellation is not at the Maritime Museum, although its just a few blocks away right in the heart of the Inner Harbor.
You might look into using the Water Taxi, although it doesn't start running until 10 a.m. so you'd have to take a cab over to the Fort to get an earlier start.
