Ballpark & Brewery
I will be driving from Chicago to Milwaukee for a daytime Brewers game in August, I wanted to try to tour a brewery--any suggestions on one close to the ballpark that might stay open late on a Thursday. All suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks,

Unfortunately, I think it's rare for a brewery to stay open late for tours - latest I've seen usually run at 6:00. However, you might be able to find a brewpub that has later hours -- won't get beer from the source, but it would be the second best thing and you'd also have some nibbles at your disposal.
My husband's fave Milwaukee brewery is Sprecher. Not sure of its proximity to the ballpark.
You might find Realbeer.com to be helpful. There's a link to "Breweries & Pubs" that I always use for research!

When we did them the brewery tours and tastes were all in the daytime hours.
Have a good time. Milwaukee's park is fun- we sat right under the roof. The exit to the expressway takes some time from that parking lot. Don't cut things real close, because if you stay until the end, it is a wait to get out of there.
