It's impossible to know how bad the vog is going to be from one day to the next. We're going to leave in four days and just take our chances.

Hi
just got back from the BI last thursday. It wasn't 1/2 as bad as I thought it would be.We flew into hilo and spent 3 days at a pond house at ON THE PUNA side not far from the champagn pond i/2 a block.sorry about the spelling, never my strong suit..close to the lava tree state park,a gated comunity. We had a nice cottage there. We drove to the kona side and stayed at the surf and racquet club, very close to a nice snotkling beach park.we did the nite manaray snorkle,THE BEST. vog wasn't bad, just looked hazy. I did have a cold most of the time but came with it,and also have allergies. go and enjoy.
