Bad Dream?
Have you ever had a travel related bad dream? I posted this on the Europe forum but will add it here.
Last night I dreamt that I had misplaced my camera (always carefully carried around my neck), and that I forgot where the car was parked, and it seemed I was searching in some city roundabout. And also that I fell asleep in someone else's hotel room and then raced frantically across a hotel lobby for a 5 p.m. trip departure (or was it to catch a flight?)
Strange, as I am not planning any trip nor anxious about anything that I know of. I woke up quite relieved that I had not lost my precious camera nor the car!

Last night I dreamed that I was going to some festival in some small midwestern town and parked my car on a hillside street. As I walked to the downtown area an old lady motioned me (and my best friend from college) into her house (blue Victorian with white picket fence) to try deep fried chicken feet. Turned out not to be that bad. What the....heck?

fehgeddaboudit--LOL!
ozarksbill...are you a last minute kind of person? I have similar dreams and think it's because I'm somewhat disorganized and a procrastinator.
My last oh-so-vivid bad dream a couple of weeks ago woke me up just enough that I tried to figure out if I was dreaming or if it was true--and has stayed with me all this time!
I tried to buy something with my Visa and the transaction was denied. Then it happened again in the next store. I got home and told my husband who said the Visa bill hadn't been paid in a couple of months--that may be why. "How much do we owe" I asked. His response, "$700,000"! LOL I kept hoping he would tell me he was joking, but nope. $700,000. Waaa...I think I may have cried in my sleep.
I write you now from debtors prison!

I have an absolutely unavoidable recurring dream of missing my flight. I swear I have it almost weekly and it's so disturbing. Doesn't matter where I'm going or when. Even if I have no travel plans. The details vary each time but the theme remains the same. Like I've forgotten that I have reservations, what the departure time is, distracted by work- whatever. I can't avoid it. In fact, I almost lived it last week when I failed to confirm an assumed reservation and nearly had no flight out. Had to rush like hell to catch the only seat out that day. Expensive mistake! Doh!
