B&Bs in Santa Fe/Taos?

We're headed to Santa Fe and Taos and are looking for some great, romantic B&Bs in those areas. Any suggestions?

AAA TourBook for Arizon & New Mexico lists the following (I have not been there):

Taos: Casa Del Las Chimenaes B & B (505) 758-1772
Three 'Diamonds' (out of five) & AAA Approved.

Also Touchstone B & B (505) 758-0192
Three 'Diamonds' but not AAA Approved

Sante Fe: El Paradero B & B (505) 988-1177
Three 'Diamonds & AAA Approved

Spencer House B & B (505) 988-3024
Three 'Diamonds' but not AAA Approved
Good Luck

We stayed at Orinda B&B in Taos last October. It is within easy walking distance of the plaza, but has a rural feel. The owners raise llamas. There is a suite available as well as a room with a separate entrance. There are other rooms available in the main building. The common rooms are decorated with many Indian and Southwest art. You could give them a call.

My wife and I enjoyed Casa Europa in Taos 2 summers ago. The price was reasonable and the host was extremely helpful and a talented chef.

I have stayed at Casa Europa in '92 and '95 and couldn't have been treated better by hosts Marcia and Rudy. A lovely spot and great breakfasts as well!
Say hi to them from the gang from Thamesford, Ont. Canada if you go!!!

If you don't mind being a little off the beaten path, there is a wonderful place in Espanola. Inn at the Delta. 1-505-753-9466. There is a very nice place for dinner there also: Anthony's at the Delta. It's not far from Santa Fe & on the back road to Taos.
