B&B - Will you tip for free breakfast & free drinks

Hey guys, I wonder if you will tip for free breakfast or free drinks provided by B&B ? If you do, how much ?

No. Breakfast is part of the overall charge. I will leave a couple of $$ for the maid.

Some B&B's provide a wine & cheese social in the early evening. It's normally a "serve yourself" ordeal. The ones that I've been to, I would feel awkward leaving a tip. Just my opinion.

In most B&Bs I've stayed at the owner is also the cook and serves breakfast. In that case, no tip is necessary as that person is receiving all the money you paid for your room and breakfast (which is not free - it's just paid up front).

In some larger B&Bs they hire wait staff to serve breakfast to guests. In that case a tip would be appreciated I'm sure.

I agree. I leave a tip if the establishment has a housekeeper but otherwise, no.
