B&B Etiquette

My husband and I have never stayed in a B&B before, and we are planning on staying in our first one in October. Forgive my ignorance, but what is the proper B&B etiquette? Do we leave daily tips for daily room cleaning, the same as we would do in a hotel? Do we leave tips for breakfast, the same as if we were in a restaurant? Thanks in advance for your help!

I've never tipped at a B&B either because the cook, waitress, and housekeeping is usually the owner.

If you would like to bring a small gift to the owner, I'm sure that would suffice.

I would have to disagree. Even the smallest B&B I've ever stayed in, with, say, 4 rooms, has had someone other than the owners to clean, and I've tippped for that. I would not tip for the breakfast, which IS the owners.

When I stay at B&Bs and I always leave something for the room cleaning crew, but it never occured to me to leave a gratuity after breakfast.
I wonder what B&B owners would say?

I tip the housekeeper. I don't tip at breakfast. In every B&B I have stayed in, the owners had someone else come in to clean.

I leave a tip for the cleaning crew if I'm staying more than one night. Never leave a tip for breakfast, but do if dinner is served.
