Muppets... very dirty muppets indeed. I enjoyed it. One of my neighbors used to play the piano for the show.

It's hard to describe, but believe me - it's hilarious. You forget they're puppets.

And it definitely isn't for the audience of the original Muppets!

Excellent Entertainment! It is the most entertaining "play" I have seen in years.

Kimmos - If you ever saw the ELECTRIC COMPANY and/or SESAME STREET while you were growing up you will especially appreciate some of the twisted inside jokes.

have fun!

Go go go! Funny, sweet, funny, smart, funny. Also, very naughty (there's puppet nudity!) It's terrific and entertaining.

We loved this play, it is very funny and entertaining. It's not just a puppet show, there are human actors not using puppets, too, interacting with the puppets - just like on Sesame Street. And, unlike Sesame Street, you see the humans who are operating and voicing the puppets, and it's fascinating to watch. What I thought was really interesting is how often I ended up watching the puppet character instead of the actor, even though they were right there singing away, with the puppet on the end of their arm.

Add my voice to the chorus of "Love its"
We got last minute TKTS tickets this summer and Avenue Q was a great, hilarious surprise.

The ads they are running here are just a close-up cleavage shot. I kept looking at it trying to figure out what was wrong with it, and then I realized it was Muppet cleavage! Have heard nothing but rave reviews.

Sara - the same thing happened to me, the people working the puppets just disappeared sometimes!

Someone did a very funny splice of that Craig speech (about him not being gay) with clips from Avenue Q - it was a riot. I think I saw it on YouTube.

thank you everyone for your feedback.....I feel more relieved now. Sesame Street (and sitting in front of the TV with my children long long time ago) just came instantly to mind when I saw an ad mentioning muppets after I had bought the tix. I am actually looking forward to it now!

It's naughty. And a little bit shocking. Very funny and entertaining.

Eight of us went for a work-related function. Four of us laughed our heads off, two thought it was okay and two were somewhat offended.

We also loved it! The juxtaposition of the actors and puppets simultaneously performing would be riveting on its own...but add to that they each are so moving in their parts. You know how on those silly promos where people say, "I laughed; I cried"....well I did both laugh (my head off) and cry in the same show!!
