ATV in Four Corners Area?

Hi All - I'm writing on behalf of my husband (because I'm the travel planning junkie in the family)). So here's the question:

My husband loves ATV'ing and he's wanting to take a "Guys Weekend" trip with his ATV - sometime before the end of the year when the weather is good. We live in Scottsdale area of AZ and he'd like to drive someplace where he could haul his ATV and do some scenic riding with a couple of his buddies. Our thought was that the Four Corners area might be a good venue but he's flexible as long as it's a reasonable drive for a weekend trip and he can haul his ATV via a trailer on his truck.

He's fine with a "packaged" sort of tour or we can plan it ourselves if anyone has ideas of trails, lodging, eating, etc...

If you have any ideas, we'd appreciate your help.

Thank you.

The area around Farmington New Mexico has very popular ATV trails on BLM land, the Glen Run Recreation Area. The Farmington CVB website has good info. Farmington is the commercial hub of the Four Corners with a lot of motels and restaurants.

Hi Debit NM - i sent your information to my husband. He's been out of pocket but will be back in a week or so. He'll probably start planning then - thank you so very much for your information and willingness to help him with lodging, dining, etc...I know that will be very helpful to him once he gets some time to begin putting a plan together.
