Atomic Bomb History

If possable, I would like to visit the sites in New Mexico that were important in the building of the atomic bomb. Could someone tell how this can be done? Thank You Very Much.

The actual site of the plant is a man-made pond now, with the teeniest of signs signifying what it was back then. However, the Bradbury Science Museum in Los Alamos, located very close to the pond, had a very interesting exhibit, with video, original correspondence, photos etc. Can't really make a day of it, but an hour or two will do it. It is an easy car ride from Santa Fe.

This might be of interest to you, Jim. It's in Albuquerque.
