Atlantic City, NJ hotel

I just made reservations at the Flagship All Suites Resort in Atlantic City. Looks like a nice place and the price was right. Is it very far from casinos? Do the hotels have shuttle buses to casinos?

Not sure where that is, but most of the larger hotels in AC are on the boardwalk, and have casinos themselves.

FYI Hilton offers midweek deals of $70 per night often we get ocean view rooms and it is on the boardwalk. Just a thought if you are unsure and this is a better price.

Flagship is NOT on the boardwalk and is fairly nice hotel on the inside. Last time i was there (a long time ago, i'll admit) there was a shuttle bus that went to Resorts, i think it ran about 1/2 hour intervals. The area around the hotel, much like the rest of Atlantic City not on the boardwalk, is not that great. I wouldn't venture outside the hotel except in a car or shuttle bus towards the boardwalk.

I agree with the prevoius person (thereuare). The entire city is not very inviting to strolling around - even on the Boardwalk itself. So try to stay as close to the Baordwalk as possible to be safe. You're going to like AC if you've never been to Vegas.
