If you click on your name you will find the answers for the last time you asked about A.C. and the suggestions you were given for your other request of where to go at the Jersey Shore. To sum it up, Atlantic City is not a good place to go unless you are a gambler. The casinos are fun, but a lot of A.C. is a slum! The age group does not change over the summer. Many elderly come on the inexpensive day bus trips, all age groups come and get free access to shows, rooms, etc. because they are big spenders. My sons of your age group go once or twice a year (since it is nearby) to spend a night gambling. As was suggested, Belmar is "the" place for people of your age for beach and nightlife.

well, belmar may be "the" place but that depends on what youre into and the type of crowd you want. for instance, if you go to Margate you will be close to AC so you can check out The Borgata
and The Quarter at the Tropicana. I am in my early 30's and I liked to party alot when I was in my 20's but I didnt like crowd that Belmar attracted...I prefered clubs but not really pick up joints...i dont know its hard to explain but if you like more pubbish type places that play good music Margate or Avalon or Stone Harbor might be a better choice. The beaches are much nicer than those at Belmar. At Belmar from what I understand there has been a ton of beach erosion and the beaches are short width wise. I grew up in North Jersey and went to college in PA and found the crowd more my speed in the more southern jersey beaches. The people a bit more laid back so it depends on what you are looking for. As far as AC
I would say, stay at either borgata or the trop in the new THE QUARTER modeled after HAVANA CUBA! for only like 1 night you will get enough of AC. Like susieq said, its a bit of a pit. My favorite beach is Long Beach Island which is more laid back has alot of bars and pubs and clubs-like dance clubs but I always liked the crowds there the best. I grew up going there though. Hotels are tough there but, you can rent a house let me know if you are interested and I will give you some more info.

I really don't agree that Atlantic City is not a good place to go unless you're a gambler. There are plenty of great night clubs and bars in Atlantic City which people in there 20's do enjoy. I am in my 20's and I love going down to AC.
My husband actually went down there with 12 of his friends for his bachelor party and they had a great time.
PNG97143: Go to Atlantic City and have a good time. There's a great club in the Borgata (forgot the name) which you'll definitely enjoy. I'm going with a group of friends for the Gotti fight on June 25th and can't wait.

pnj97143: As you can see there is disagreement about where to go but agreement that A.C. is best for a short gambling trip. By the way, liasun, your tax money was spent to give Belmar a wide, beautiful beach. All of Monmouth County (except for 3 municipalities) got Federal money to replenish the beaches.
