Atlanta-restaurant near MARTA

We will be using Marta before and after a Braves afternoon game.
Looking for suggestions for moderately priced casual/fun place (Unless we go back to hotel first we may be "game dressed").
We like all foods but love Vietnamese/Asian Within walking distance of a MARTA station, please

Which MARTA station? Where is the hotel?

A couple of options downtown would be Mick's or Mama Ninfa's. Both would be fine for "game dressed". There's always the Hard Rock Cafe too.

I can't think of a MARTA station that doesn't have restaurants nearby.

If you haven't been to the little town of Decatur recently, take MARTA to there. All kinds of restaurants surrounding the square. Burgers, wings, Thai, Vietnamese, another Micks, and so on and so on and so on.

Which MARTA station is key.

There is a Jocks 'n Jills (sports bar) at CNN Center downtown and also one on 10th Street -- both are near a major MARTA station.

For 5 years, I worked across the street from Cha Gio and ate there at least once a week. I think it fits what you're looking for...have fun.

I used to live a few blocks from Cha Gio and really liked the food. I'll only caution you though, that unless it's changed, I wouldn't really call it a "fun" or "happening" place. Often it was quite quiet and less than busy. Don't mean to discourage you, but don't want you to be disappointed.

There are lots of other places within walking distance of Cha Gio, so you can get off at the Midtown station, check it out, and if it's not what you're looking for, stroll around. Are Zocalo and Nickiemoto's still open down the block?

One of my favorites for a high energy, great food experience is Baraonda, one stop before the Midtown station at the North Ave station. www.baraondaatlanta.com

One reviewer said he had never seen it more than 1/3 full!!

Zocalo is still open and as fabulous as ever! However, the poster wanted Asian food.

I had a great Chinese meal in Italy. The menu was in Chinese and Italian so we attempted to turn all that into English!
