Atlanta botanical gardens

We will be traveling thru Atlanta mid January and would like to know if the Gardens have inside exhibits. We've been to the aquarium, Coke and CNN.

Their orchid garden is gorgeous!

The new canopy walk will be interesting in any season.

The weather can be beautiful in January and sometimes there are special events.

We went to see Scarecrows in the Garden yesterday and some pics are up on my FB page. They have a chocolate exhibit going until November.

The new parking deck can be accessed from Monroe Drive and the elevator takes you to the top deck which is also the entrance to the gardens. Use the same deck for parking at Piedmont Park. You may be interested in a tour of Piedmont Park too.

They've just completed an elevated walkway at tree level. It winds through the trees and then down to a new fountain that is just gorgeous.

Not very long but it's beautiful walking through the trees (maybe a walking version of a zipline?)

But if you want a zipline, there are a couple in the area
