Atlanta Airport Security Lines
Anybody gone through security at Atlanta's Hartsfield airport in the last few days since TSA posted the new security regulations?
If so, please describe for me the experience and the length of time required.
I fly out of there in 4 days, so I was wondering how much lead time to allow.
I can allow 2 hours easily; 3 hours will cause a revision in plans. But I will do what I need to do.

flightstats.com gives all sorts of airport info - security wiat times history included.
Not the best sight to navigate and to get to some parts you have to register (free). Just checked Hartsfield for yesterday - longest security wait time was 24 minutes, but most times of day were much lower.

While not Atlanta, I flew out of 2 other busy airports last week, JFK and SFO. Not as fast as Dan reports, but I was through security at both airports in about 5min.
New security measures seem to be having no delay, and perhaps are actually speeding up lines since more bags are being checked.

That's good news. I forgot to mention I was flying to Munich. I think that will involve a search at the gate as well.
Does anybody have any words of caution about that issue?
My apologies for not being more specific.
I think I should ask only on Saturdays when I am less pushed. Slowing down in my old age I guess.
