Atlanta airport hotels

We will have a 24 hour layover at Atlanta airport in January. Looking for recommendations on hotels in area with shuttle service between $70-$100. If anyone knows of a good place lower than that, always love a great deal. Will not be renting a car. Any information on things to do in that short time would be welcomed. Love history, sightseeing, etc., eating.

I have been to Econo Lodge Conley hotel in Atlanta when I was on business tour. The hotel is very nice. The room is for $60 per day + there is car rental service available from Atlanta Airport at $24/day. The total package will cost with car and nice hotel will cost you around $85, which is in your budget. I have seen the prices on http;//www.tripntourpackages.com .You can look for more options here on both car rentals and Hotel booking.

The places to see when you are in Atlanta include

Martin Luther King Jr. National History Site
Centennial Olympic Park
Fernbank Museum of Natural History
Atlanta History Center
World of Coca-Cola
Georgia Aquarium
Inside CNN Studio Tour
High Museum of Art
Piedmont Park

You can usually get a 4star hotel in that range. Use Priceline (if there are only two of you) or Hotwire. Use MARTA to go into Atlanta to see the sights of downtown or enjoy the restaurants of Midtown and to visit Piedmont Park.

ustwo, if it is a weekend, you can likely get a really sweet deal at an airport hotel on Priceline. You can get most 4* hotels in the $50-$60 range, and 3* and below for $40ish. We have used The Drury Inn at the Airport several times-good rates and a shuttle. Once in Atlanta, we had Priceline reservations at the Hilton(airport), and they walked us to The Doubletree which resulted in a free stay and free breakfast!

Ustwo, we booked the drury using their erate which is normally their lowest price. Most all if the airport hotels gave a shuttle.
