Arognaut Hotel in San Francisco?

Has anybody stayed at this hotel? It looks great, the location is perfect, and the price is right.

Yes, I stayed there last January and loved it! The rooms are nice, not your typical hotel room, and it is within walking distance of Fisherman's wharf, pier 39, and the boats to Alcatraz. You can also hop a ride on a cable car right next to the hotel, lots of fun! A lot of people will tell you to stay away from Fisherman's Wharf, but we loved it.

I agree with pianogirl--good hotel, good location, good price, and helpful staff; pick up a map of the area at the check-in area. It's an easy walk to the wharf and all its attractions, including the Jeremiah O'Brien Liberty Ship Memorial, a preserved WWII liberty ship that is fun to tour, the submarine Pampanito, and the Musee Mechanique, which is a kick. Enjoy!

Try to get a room on the top floor, facing front.

I have been to arrogant hotels in New York but all the ones in San Francisco have been helpful and polite.

Thankyou all for the feedback on this.

All except logandog. Ha ha. It's the Argonaut Hotel, not arrogant . . . .
