Are there really hot springs in the Berkshires?

Yesterday while at a Williamstown tourist booth a man came in to inquire about where the hot springs are that was in a Hollywood movie. The woman in the office didn't know anything about it but he insisted that the hot springs exist and that it wasn't just a Hollywood effect. Has anyone heard anything about this and know if they do exist? My last experience in natural hot springs was about 30 years ago in the Pacific Northwest mountains. This would be amazing to find them here in the Berkshires.

That would be Sand Springs, in Williamstown.
