Are there ever discounts around for lu'au?
I have been reading all of the previous threads on which is the best lu'au and am getting ready to book one for our October trip.
Are there ever discounts available for these or is it just wishful thinking on my part?
I figure I am going to have to bite the bullet and just spring for the full price, but thought I would ask.

I think I read on a different thread thet you are going to Maui.
Entertainment Book has a coupon for Royal Lahaina Luau. I think it is 25% off for up to 4 people.
There are also other discounts available for that luau. Look in free brochures when you get to Maui.
Also:
www.activityworld.com
www.hawaiifun.org
www.hawaiiactivities.com
Note:
If you book through an activity company, the luau won't honor the coupon.
That is the same for any other luau or any other activity in Hawaii. They won't honor the coupon if you book the event through a discount broker.
On Oahu:
Polynesian Cultural Center $36 coupon in Entertainment Book ($40 in 2007 book)
Paradise Cove & Germaine's both 25% off for up to 4 people in Entertainment Book
Big Island:
Island Breeze Luau & Royal Kona Luau both 25% off for up to 4 people in Entertainment Book
There are coupons in some of the free brochures for some of the above luaus & also a couple on Kauai in the free brochures:
www.thisweek.com This Week on Oahu (also Kauai, Big Island, Maui)
www.spotlighthawaii.com Oahu Gold (also Kauai, Big Island, Maui)
www.101thingstodo.com 101 Things to do on Oahu (also Kauai, Big Island, Maui)
If you want to go to a certain luau, then it is best to book in advance.
If any luau will do then wait until you get to Hawaii. There are always some luaus available.
