April Itenary help for first timers in California

Hi
I am from Uk and am planning to visit California with my husband and 10yr old son, for 2 weeks in April. My plan is to fly into SanFrancisco on 1st and fly out of LA on 15th.We would hire a car from SF itself and drive to death Valley GC, LA etc. Your ideas and suggestions would be much appreciated.

Grummans Chinese Theatre was cool. you might want to look into that. Disney Soda Fountain across from the Kodak Theatre was fun. they make old fashioned sodas.are you going to be going to San Diego? Because the Sandiego Zoo was cool.

You Should probably call visitors centers in the different towns in Califorina that you are going to, and ask them to send you information on what there is to do

There are no state specific forums here. All the threads appear on the list for the US. When you create a new thread the topic list on the drop down menu is for when people who are doing a search want to see topics regarding a certain state. By selecting California what you've done is made your topic appear in CA search. So bottom line we all see your thread so we ca all respoond to it.

check both this Calif. forum and the general USA one since you have a lot more answers on the other posting.

"check both this Calif. forum and the general USA one " Uh - nope. As Suzie says, there is only one forum - "United States" and it covers all the states. Just like over on "Europe" - it is just one forum for all the countries.

Clicking on a state just lets one search fro some of the threads about that state.

So, EnglishLady - the two threads are on the same forum and you should check both, since both are getting responses.
