Apartment-like hotels in or near Chicago?

Tabernash2, I'm very glad you were pleased with the accommodations. But I'm just stating facts about what the hotel was before the conversion.
That being said, I also think you might have at least mentioned that the hotel is in the middle of the Boystown area of the Lakeview neighborhood in Chicago. Although the majority of the gay bars are located on N. Halsted (to the west), there are still a couple on N. Broadway. This may or may not be of consideration for a family when choosing lodging.
Wrigleyville is immediately to the west of the Boystown area in the neighborhood of Lakeview. If anyone is interested in the Boystown neighborhood, here is the website for the area: http://www.lakevieweast.com There is a map of the area under the Discover Lakeview East section.

exiledprincess --- we may have been neighbors. I lived on Buckingham between Broadway & Halsted until this past April. Moved to West Town since we couldn't afford a house in the area.
