Planning a 4 or 5 day getaway in this area of FL. Have never been there. Wondering about staying in the town of Apalachicola, in a place that looks out over the water (I realize it is not on the ocean itself).. Would like to relax, be able to see the water and maybe some fishing boats, and stroll around the town and the shops. Is there much to see or do right in the town? Many folks post about staying out at the beautiful beaches, and I'm sure that is lovely....but frankly we get a bit bored and antsy if it is just the beach and the water. Just wondering if Apalachicola has anything to do? Thanks EK
