Anywhere to charge DVD Player in Newark Airport?

Hi all,
We leave for Alaska in just 11 hours so I'm posting this question here as well as on the Airlines Forum in the hope that someone might be able to give me the answer before we fly.

We will be arriving on a Continental flight from Ireland, having a layover in Newark for 2.5 hours before we fly on to Seattle and then to Anchorage. Does anyone know where (if anyplace) we can juice up our portable DVD player between flights?

ANY advice at this stage is MUCH appreciated!

Thanks
Imelda

Plenty of outlets around....just check around your gate.

Depends on your charger. My dvd player has a battery charger that can go into any standard electrical plug which I've found in just about any waiting area in the airport. Problem is finding an open one since people are inevitably charging their laptops and cell phones.

Ours is the same - a standard 'plug' that connects to the DVD while the battery is attached. Hopefully we will be able to 'nab' a free one.
Is the best place to try beside the gate or is there any other 'area' (cafe, bar etc) where we might find one? Sorry if thie is a silly question but we have never been in Newark Airport.

Thanks again,
Imelda

You'll find outlets on the walls and support columns all around the sitting area. Everybody uses them to charge their cell phones, blackberry's, etc. there are enough outlets in the terminal that I've never had trouble finding an empty one though not necessarilly right near my departure gate.
