Weaverville Milling Co is still there but I can't think of anyone who has been there recently and the one person that I know has been there within the past year wasn't too complimentary. I think the ownership changed and it is pretty stale. There are a couple of new places in Grove Arcade downtown that are worth checking out.
Hector who started Salsa's and Zambra's has 2 new places, Modesto and Chorizo. The former has had uneven reviews and is open for L &D. The latter for B &L. Around the corner (also on the Arcade) is Carmel's - have heard good reports on L & D. I also liked Sante, the wine bar in the Arcade. 12 Bones is new within the last year - it is a BBQ place open only for Lunch near the river. There are a couple of new Thai/Sushi places on Biltmore Ave. There have been some new additions to shops and galleries downtown and the same w/in the Arcade.
