Anyone found low-cost flights for Easter Weekend? Argh!!

Should I forget about finding any kind of reasonable fare from Boston to Orlando leaving on Good Friday (April 13) and returning on the Mon. after Easter (April 16)? I've been quoted $900! Any ideas?

Can you leave earlier? Found $188 roundtrip to Orlando leaving the Tuesday before Easter (Delta Express). Pretty much every carrier was blocked out for the actual Easter weekend. Good luck!

Kayla - I you're willing to depart Boston about 7 p.m. on the 14th (you'll arrive Orlando shortly after midnight), and return very early Tuesday the 17th, arriving Boston shortly after 11 a.m., you can get the RT for $366 on US Airways. FL#1543 going and #1124 returning. If you prefer UAL, they have a similar flights for $388. Good luck.

Hey, Kayla, tried another way and got UAL for $237: Leave Boston April 13th at 7 PM (#1979), arriving Orlando before midnight. Depart Orlando the 17th at 6:10 AM (#773), arriving Boston at noon. Can you take the extra time off? Good luck.

Thanks so much everyone! The only thing is, these flights are sold out! I guess I can see if anyone cancels...

Kayla, are you will ing to try stand-by? Or you could face the situation of an oversold aircraft and the agents offering those with tickets the first opportunity. It is a dicey situation either way, but if you don't mind spending 4-6 hours trying, you might just get onboard. But then you face the same deal coming back ... how flexible are you? Good luck to you.

Have you tried priceline, cheap tickets or biztravel.com? Maybe they have something.
