Anyone Familiar with Little Point Beach in the La Jolla Shores Area

Anyone Familiar with Little Point Beach in the La Jolla Shores Area
We are looking in to condo/house rentals for a trip to San Diego, in the La Jolla Shores area.
I came across a rental that says it has access to Little Point Beach which they say is semi-private, only used by locals.
Can anyone comment on whether this would be a good beach to have as our home base? We are two adults and two children, ages will be 6 1/2 and 5. The rental says it's also close to WindandSea Beach, so not sure which is better?
Any other advice as far as which would be a good quiet beach for a family with two small children?

Not familiar with Little Point Beach, but I do know Windnsea. Its a nice area, but not exactly a quiet beach for a family with two small children. Its more a surfing beach. Its not in the La Jolla Shores area, at least not walking distance.
You may want to look more in the downtown La Jolla area or La Jolla Shores area.
