Anyone booked Priceline with kids?

I would like to try booking a hotel through Priceline but have a 1 year old and 3 year old who need to share our room. Does anyone know how to get around this with Priceline as they only guarantee the accommodation for 2 adults? Thanks.

I would call the hotel, you would most likely get put in the position of dealing wioth customer service that won't match up with the hotel's policy. Better safe than sorry!

Also try checking the hotels policy on-line

As you've noted, PL only allows for two adults per room. You can book and call the property direct, as suggested, but you will be unhappy if the property you get doesn't allow for kids... some don't.

Suggest you look at ezboard.com/bpricelineandexpediabidding (I think that's it, if not, go to ezboard.com and search "travel") for more discussion of same. This board is indispensible for those using PL, possible you can get other replies there. Good luck.

It is risky although I've done it (and i know other who have). We got a room at the omni at indep. hall in Pillie (only 1 night). We have 2 not so small children who don't like sleeping together. I called the hotel. They put us in a room with 1 queen and a pull-out sofa. They said a rollaway was $20 extra. When we got there we requested a rollaway and they didn't charge us. It worked out great. This was only for 1 night, if it were a major vacation, i don't think i'd take any chances.
