Anyone been to 71 Clinton?

This restaurant is the subject of an article in today's New York Times. Anyone been? (Howard?)

I've been but only once. It's supreme -- I highly recommend. It's a retro storefront, very unassuming and small. Waitstaff is helpful, wine list small but well chosen. Oh the food -- it was winter and I had a melt-in-your-mouth beef dish and, to start, a delicious tart. Go, go now!

I found it very disappointing for the money. It's hard to get a reservation because it's so popular and also small. We finally did and were expecting a great experience. The food was not great and portions very small. My appetizer was very good but by main course and my husbands food was good but not great. The service was nothing special either. There are many restaurants as good for less and without the difficulty in getting a reservation.
