Anybody know of spring training packages in Florida?

Does anybody know if it is possible to find packages in Florida that would include hotel and tickets to a Yankees game at Legends field? The games seem to be sold out already, so I thought maybe I could get tickets through a package deal. Thanks.

There are Yankees spring training tickets available on ebay now and also through ticket brokers (search for yankees tickets on yahoo and they'll com eup). My husband got tickets yesterday through a broker (he lost the ebay auction). Had to pay $70 (I know, seems ridiculous for spring training, but hey, he really wants to go)

weenie, if you go the ebay route, my husband had bid $64 on ebay on Friday and lost it. So the broker was not a bad deal re market value at this point.
Everyone wants to see ARod.

I see tickets available at ticketsnow.com. Do you think it is that a reputable outfit? What is a ticket broker anyway? Are the tickets scalped? (Whatever that means...)

We're going to miss Soriano!!!

No, they aren't scalped. The brokers get blocks of seats and resell them but it is legal for them to do so, they are registered as brokers. It's the same as using a ticket broker to get tickets to Broadway plays.

Coincidentally, I just happen to schedule a business trip to a client in the Tampa area every year in late February/Early March. (Funny how that works out.)

Rather than try and deal with getting a ticket to a legends field game, which is usually sold out, I've gone to see the Yankees when they've played the Phillies in Clearwater. I've never had a problem getting to ticket to the Phillies park.
