There are tons of non stop flights from Honolulu to various destination. If its a week vacation, Asia is not a bad place at all. Try Tokyo, am sure you will have a blast.
You can search by going through a fake booking in any of the online travel sites.

An easy way to do this is to go to www.flightstats.com. Go to Flight stats; by airport (HNL) and departures. It will give you what is flying now though and may not be on the particular day you want to travel.

Thank you for everyone's replies! March is somewhat of an awkward time to travel weather-wise, but we didn't have a choice. I would've loved to travel to Seattle or Portland, but we want to wait for a different season. We've done a fair amount of traveling, so a lot of the suggestions are already places one of us has visited. I ended up looking up the airport website and perusing all of the dpartures/destinations for that day and then going to my favorite flight website, itasoftware, to check length of flight and price. We decided to go to the North Island in New Zealand and bought tickets last night. My husband has never been to New Zealanad and I loved the South Island, so it's a good choice. The flight is longer than I would've liked, but it would be much longer once we move back to the mainland. Oh, from itasoftware, I learned about air pacific and went to their website and checked out all of their flights departing honolulu to multiple pacific destinations which was helpful.
