Any soft beds out there??!

I am desperate to find a hotel with soft beds!! Everywhere I stay the beds are hard as ROCKS. I have a pillowtop mattress at home and I can not sleep on these hard beds when staying at hotels. Does anyone else have this problem? I have tried LaQuinta, Westin (Heavenly bed - great bedding, hard bed), Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott (3 inches of foam is not a mattress!)and Omni hotels. I travel to Dallas alot so would appreciate tips there.

Hotels like hard beds because they last longer. Get use to it.

The better the hotel, the better the bed, pillows etc.

Try the W Hotel chain. I stayed at their Seattle location and the bed had possibly the most comfortable mattress that I've ever slept on. I'm not sure they have one in Dallas, though.

In Dallas, I've stayed several times at the Westin Stonebriar Resort, near Plano, and thought the beds were comfortable.

Paula,
When you're in New York, stay at 60 Thompson.

Yes, I agree with the previous poster. Try the Hotel W. We stayed at one in the French Quarter and the bed was absolutely heavenly. The room itself was too sterile and masculine for my tastes, but the bed was the best I've ever slept on!

Westin's Heavenly Bed package *includes* a 10" pillow-top mattress--it is not just the linens. I don't know how much more heavenly you are going to get than that in a hotel.

It's available for purchase online by the way, if anyone is interested in purchasing it--pillows, mattress, and linens--it's that popular.

Westin's "Heavenly Beds" are just that - heavenly. Absolutely the most comfortable hotel bed ever, although the Marriott Forum in Dallas came close for comfort, but not for linens.

I like the beds at the Motel 6 in the City of Industry, Ca. Nice and firm!
