Any Carmel Spa reviews???

I am looking for a spa gift for my mom. She loves spas and has high end taste. Atmosphere is as important to her as the services. Does anyone have any recomendations for an amazing spa experience in Carmel? I was thinking The Spa at Pebble Beach.

Thanks

Carmel sounds fantastic. I was planning on visiting the region in the spring. One spa I plan to visit is the Bernardus Lodge & Spa. Not only is the property set on a vineyard, one of their signature treatments is a Chardonnay Pedicure.

We were in Monterey several weeks ago and I almost booked that Chardonnay Pedicure at Bernardus, it does sound heavenly! I ended up spending my spa money at the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach last week at the hair salon there, they also offered champagne while styling my hair and sent me on my way with Fiji water and Sparkling Wine from Napa. If you do the pedicure, let me know how it goes!

The Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa is very nice with a lovely atmosphere, it is up on the rooftop with beautiful views of the ocean. Happy Holidays! ***kim***

Does she live here? If so, does she have a favorite spa?

Casa Palmero, at Pebble Beach, houses a lovely spa. I wouldn't hesitate to give a gift of their spa to anyone with discerning tastes. She can step outside between treatments and take in one of the most beautiful ocean sites in the world.

Kimamom - what a coincidence! You ALMOST had a chardonnay pedicure at Bernardus and went to Laguna beach, got your hair done and drank. The great coincidences in life...when we were in Paris recently, I had a glass of champagne while having my tresses styled. Although, they didn't "send me on my way" they pampered my every whim. Fodors needs a pooper scooper smiley.
