Msrva, I knew about the giveaways. We tend to get to games early anyways and I would like the Rendon gnome. Red Porch is always our first stop at Nationals Park. In May, I had the Bloodlines and enjoyed it.

Three weeks and I will be there. It cannot come soon enough as the last few weeks of work have been crazy and I am burnt out and need a break. My aunt is flying into DC on that Thursday so my plans have shifted a little but I am looking forward to it.

Found a great rate for Holiday Inn Key Bridge. Any reasons not to stay there? Ok reviews on trip advisor. Having stayed at Key Bridge Marriott last time (2013 trip) I cannot picture where the HI is. Based on map it was between the Metro Station and my hotel but I cannot remember it being there.

That Holiday Inn has been there since the 80s in a building that is about as nondescript as the decade. If the reviews are ok and your expectations are gauged to match, I can't think of a reason not to stay there. Close to the Rosslyn metro. There is a Circulator stop in Rosslyn too.

Obxgirl, I agree with you. Found a deal for $65 per night plus taxes. That really can't be beat even with the Americana. Includes free breakfast. We are never in the room anyways.

What Ethiopian restaurants are recommended?

Dukem and Etete are always good options in in the U Street area.

Ethiopic is an excellent choice in NE. Traditional food, modern decor.

If you stay in Rosslyn, there is a very good Ethiopian place at the west end of M Street in G/town, Das. You can walk (maybe half an hour) or take the Circulator.

Like most places in DC these days, I'd book ahead for Thus-Sat.

Correction: Etete is at the east end of M Street, not west.
