It depends on if you want to be close to campus or if you don't mind driving about 10-15 mins. I stay in ann arbor for business quite a bit and get my rooms on priceline for about $35 ($45 with fees). If you go online and check prices on travelocity.com, etc....you'll pay anywhere from $80 a night up.

First of all, congrats to your daughter. Go Blue!
The nicest hotel right on campus is the Bell Tower Hotel.

Campus Inn is also right on campus.

And I think either the Michigan Union or the Michigan League has some rooms in it.
The next place I'd probably stay is out by Briarwood Mall. There are a few nice places out there, but you will have to drive in and park, which can be hard to do.
And there are a few b&bs that you might want to try. I have no experience with them.
Check tripadvisor for reviews on all these places.
Just know that football weekends book up waaaaay in advance, so get yourself a schedule:
