What is best hotel near Wrigley Field?

There are no hotels "near" Wrigley. The closest would be the Days Inn on Diversy that I can think of. It's walking distance (a longish walk)but no great shakes. You may be better off to stay somewhere else and take the El to Wrigley for more hotel selection.

Try the City Suites near Belmont and Sheffield. Great area with a bit of an edge. Lots of wedding parties stay there as it's near some churches. They also have two sister hotels in the lakeview area.

If you stay on or near Michigan Avenue, the Redline is a cheap and convenient way to get to and from Wrigleyville.

I forgot about the City Suites-that's a good choice if you are only in the city for the Cubs game. If you are there for more, then I'd stay in the Michigan Ave/River North area and take the Red Line to the game. Try Priceline for good deals.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites on State Street, which is right off the red line. Nearby was the Hilton Garden Inn.We could walk to the shops on Michigan Ave . I liked that location. There is a Giordano's on Rush Street that wasn't that far to walk--4 blocks maybe.

even closer is the best western hawthorn suites at 3434 n. broadway. 888-675-2378. you can walk to the park from there. loads of restaurants in the area too.
