Amerisuites, Orlando, International Drive

Has anyone stayed at Amerisuites, Orlando, on International Drive? My husband is on business and is taking the family with him. Is it strictly a "business type" hotel?

Wondering the same thing, five years later! So, if you still look at this site, let me know what you thought if you ended up staying here.

No, it's not a business type hotel. It will be full of families having fun in Orlando parks.

I like the Homewood Suites nearby as well.

I've stayed there and it seemed like a family, as well as business, establishment and I wouldn't hesitate staying there with children.

What we liked is that there was a nice lagoon to walk around and there were also some restaurants in walking distance. The area was much nicer than other airport hotels I've stayed at. We were also very satisfied with the hotel ammenities and service.

The airport is a different location, but there are plenty of restaurants, movie theatre, etc. to walk to from the International Drive location.

starsville, is it the same Amerisuites that's across from a small lagoon with several other hotel properties around it? I just remember the one we stayed at as being on International drive and booking it for an overnight before a flight so we would have the shuttle service to the airport. Maybe I have the wrong location.
