Amerisuites

I am going on vacation in August, and was wondering about Amerisuites, they seem cheap for a suite hotel, and cheap in general. Are they any good?

We have stayed at Amerisuites several times in different cities and have always been happy with them. The rooms aren't huge, but they do have a small kitchen and table and it is nice if you like to have snacks and the like in your room. Wher will you be traveling?

I've stayed at one in Memphis and was very pleased with it. Having the refrigerator and microwave was great and for once, we could take our leftovers from the restaurant with us. We also had a small sitting area in our room with a small sofa and chair, plus the table and chairs in the kitchen area.

We stayed at one in Denver and were very pleased. Seemed fairly new and bigger than your typical room.

The one in Richmond is not so good. The air conditioner was as big as an easy chair, noisy and 6 inches from the bed, which was as hard as a coffee table. The "bountiful buffet" included a few stale bagels and not much else.

We stayed for one night in Orlando near the airport. The room was a bit tired looking and decorated in tans and browns (pet peeve of mine - silly, I know). But the breakfast was a big hit with the kids and Dad. For $50 a night who could argue. And I had to laugh at their 47 cents charge for paying by credit card. 47!? Why not just round off to 50? Why charge me at all? Very Weird.
