Amelia Island
We where lucky enough to receive a weekend at the Elizabeth Lodge during the Shrimp Festival April 29th thru May 1st. Also dinner at Beech Street Grill. We have never been to the area. Looking for reasonable lunch and dinner places. What else can we do in the area?

The Elizabeth Lodge is supposed to be very nice, so you are lucky indeed!
Amelia Island is a charming town and so is its neighbor, Fernandina Beach.
In Fernandina, there is a great restaurant called Brett's Waterway that is very nice and reasonable, especially for lunch. Both places have great shopping and nice beaches.

The Crab Trap is also good if you like a less formal (dump buckets in the middle of the table) kind of place. Beech St. is excellent. If you contact Don & Cindy @ The Healing Dome they do massages & such at a much more reasonable rate than you will get @ the Ritz or in the Old Town. Visit Ft. Clinch State Park. I would probably take advantage of the Shrimp Festival for at least one of my meals.

Love Bretts Waterway!
There are a few reasonable places along the Main St that are good for lunches.
Check this place...
