All Inclusive for 10th anniversary trip

My husband & I are trying to plan a trip for our 10th anniversary April 24th. We're wanting to go to an AI resort & I would love any recommendations. I was thinking of Cancun, only because we can get there cheaper, but am also interested in other areas such as Jamaica. We'd like to keep it around $3000 if possible, but we definitely want to stay somewhere nice, fun & relaxing. Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

Not sure where you are located, but traveling to the Dominican Republic from the East Coast at least is very inexpensive. And they have some of the most affordable all-inclusives around! My fiance and I had a great time at the Riu Resort in Punta Cana last winter. I think we spent around $1500 for flight + hotel (which of course included food, drink and water sports) for four days.

zappazoe-I spent my 10th Anniversary in Cancun! We stayed at the Aventura Spa Palace and it was a huge disappointment! No beach, terrible food and in the middle of nowhere! 30 miles south of Cancun!

I would highly recommend Riu Las Americanas! It's right next to Riu Cancun! Gorgeous property!!! Stayed here for a girls trip! Food was awesome, beach was beautiful and the rooms were fantastic!

Look into the Couples resort in Jamaica! Very romantic!

For AI's the largest selection will be:

Mexico Rivera Maya (South of Cancun)
Jamaica
Dominican Republic

Once you decide where you want to go then you can start narrowing down resort choices. I think Riviera Maya will have the most variety and best selection(there are dozens to choose from). Once you figure out where you want to go and what you want in a resort it will be easier to choose. I personally like the RM (Barcelo Maya Beach/Tropical/Palace complex) even though I admit that I have not been to Jamaica or DR. Good luck.

Oh and you would get a better response if you posted in the Caribbean section.

YOu can fly into Cancun and stay in the Riviera Maya. Look into the Iberostar Paraiso Grand, Secrets Maroma and the Royal Playa del Carmen. They are all adults only all inclusvie resorts with good food and wonderful service.
