Unfortunatly, the Aladdin is not the only hotel where you have to walk a far distance to get to your vehicle. Bally's and Paris are exactly the same way and I am sure other places are too. They make you walk through the casino and past shops for a reason.

Valet parking is a big problem at many of the hotels. We were at the Mirage and were going to drive downtown as we had reservations for dinner at Binion's Steakhouse. After waiting nearly a half hour for our car, we asked and were told it could easily be another half hour to get it. We ended up taking a taxi downtown and still arrived late -- leaving our car in the garage. That was the last time we used valet parking. At the Bellagio, when we checked in I saw dozens of people lined up waiting to get their cars. That's when we decided we'd better go do self-park; so if we wanted to actually use our car, we'd be able to get it.

Well the Aladdin must have quite a few maids that like other people's clothing. When we were there in November my daughter and her husband in a rush to check out missed one of the draws in the bureau. They ended up leaving about 5 bras behind (almost new) and didn't realize till the next day and called to ask them to check the room. We stayed on a couple of extra days and also checked with the hotel and they were never found. Now clothing is one thing to take by undergarments!! I agree also about the parking. I think it was worse than Paris and it did take forever to get the cars from the valets so allow enough time if you intend to use them.
