Akron/Cleveland area for a jazz club?
Our grandson is visiting from Texas and plays trumpet. He loves jazz. He will only be here a few days and we would like to take him to a jazz club for dinner and entertainment. I have been on line and am having trouble finding one. Any help is appreciated.

Also, you could email the Northeast Ohio Jazz Society.

Nighttown seems like your best bet.
You can also check out venues at www.cleveland.com, click on entertainment, then music, then open up "jazz" and it will show who's playing when/where.
Does anyone out there know if Wilberts is in operation?

Cleveland now has a "House of Blues". It's located on Euclid and 4th downtown.
